If you are an interviewee, be sure to squirm in your seat with the probing and thorough questioning style of JJ. His program, after all, is Hotline. Hot, indeed, that it recently garnered the KBP 2007 Golden Dove Award Award for Best Public Affairs Program.

News Director
Aksyon Firing Line Anchorman
(6:30 pm to 9:00 pm) M-Sat
Format: Interviews, Commentary, Reporting
He sweeps the nightly airwaves. His delivery of the news is distinct – clear but in rapid-fire fashion – while his commentaries make him unique – scathing and unforgiving. Mr. Sweep, who anchors The Firing Line is living up to the standards of the program. Like a chef in the kitchen, he (1) harvests the freshest happenings of the day, (2) spices it up with researches and analyses and (3) delivers these in a hot casserole right into the living rooms of his listeners. Such is Mr. Sweep who also swept the ratings in his slot as shown by the latest KBP-RRC survey.

Aksyon Reports Afternoon Edition
(4:30 pm to 6:30 pm) M-Sat
The masses are delighted but the erring officials are slighted when Mr. Afternoon Delight heats up afternoon primetime. His program is a hodgepodge of reports and interviews but it is his commentaries that make him stand out from the heap. Also known as Mr. Public Service, Charlie minces no words. For him, a spade is a spade. He speaks loudly and carries a big stick (and he uses it, too) in whipping at the anomalies and shenanigans of government officials who, for him, are “bound to serve the public at all times.”

The Night Man. The Most-Laughs-Per-Minute-Anchorman who hosts the nightwatch program, Aksyon Night Patrol. Eric’s program is more known as “Paurok-Urok” which refers to the last 10 minutes or so segment of his program where he plays the oldies but goodies songs that cap every broadcast day of the station. Eric is also a mean reporter. A veteran of the police beat; it is usually the news that sniffs him out not the other way around.

The Big Man. Big on assignments, big on reports. Totally big-time. Rex is always on special assignment, handling the most controversial reports, usually crime stories. His sourcing, accuacy and authority in delivering the news make him one of the more popular reporters in town. His patrol reporting on Night Patrol has also earned him and Eric the distinction of being the Wacky Nighttime Duo. Sundays are different, however, as Rex takes on the role of Mr. Suave, leading listeners on a trip down memory lane through his program, Sunday at the Memories With Rex C.
Capitol Beat Report

Aksyon Balitang Bayan Numero Uno
Aksyon Balita Evening Edition
A seasoned patrol reporter before moving on to a political beat, Marlon is one of the semi-veterans of the pack. Good at delivering the news, be it reports live from the field or as a newscaster, Marlon combines the traits usually found in a good reporter. He is one-half of the Morning Mixup Tandem during the Balita Espesyal program where he mixes up with Flor Lingamen in delivering the “special news items” of the day from beauty tips, health news and almost anything under the sun.
Anchorman
Provincial and Defense Beat Reporter
This talk, dark and handsome veteran this side of town is the provincial police and defense connection. A reporter who truly rose from the ranks, Ricky’s reporting is distinct: he delivers the news with a dash of deep Hiligaynons that would enrich any Bacoleno’s limited vocabulary of the local dialect.
Special Assignments
The New Kid On The Block. Not exactly a newcomer to the trade, Art Tayhopon can handle any assignment. From crime to other issues that are prime, Art is the most-improved reporter of the lot. Aside from impersonations, Art also has a lot of funny stories in store that he usually dishes out during the Night Patrol Program. While he can deliver stories with a kick, he is also known to deliver mean punchlines that leave listeners laughing in stitches.
City Hall Beat Reporter
Newscaster
Cely is the Diminutive Dynamite. She packs a punch in her reporting and has already gained a reputation for being a “thinking reporter” who combines wits and skills in looking for the news. Sweet as she is, some news sources – and we mean public officials – have discovered to their horror, however, that is not good to cross this young lady.
